To open the gate just turn the key on the wall.

Turn the key to the right, the gate will open.

Make sure you are not standing in front of the Photocell, or the gate will not open.
Let the gate open completely. If you pass in front of the Photocell, the gate will block and you will have to open it again.
The gate will close automatically. No need to press the button again to close it.
